Our Standard automatic chicken coop door opener is a great gadget and comes complete with an integrated timer, full manual door control and our unique failsafe mode for that extra peace of mind. This is a great little unit for those who just want the basics. Running on only 4 x AA batteries, our AS Standard door opener has been designed with ease of use in mind. Simply secure the control box to the front of your coop, set your opening and closing preferences and you’re away. We have even made the buttons extra big so that you can easily press them with gloves on in the winter!

Integrated Timer
The most import feature of our Door Openers is the ability to use the Timer to activate the opening and closing cycles as it gives you the flexibility to set exactly how and when you want the door to be activated. You can even set it to NOT automatically open or close….This is a great feature if you have animals that are not creatures of habit like ducks. You could for example set the door to open at a set time in the mornings, say 6:30am and set the closing cycle for Manual. This would mean that you would have to manually close the door each evening, but have the door automatically open at your preset time in the mornings!.

Full manual door control
One of the most overlooked features of Automatic Door Openers is the ability to easily Open or Close the door whenever you need to. With the Chickenguard Openers, a simple press of the button is all that is required – we have even designed the buttons to be extra big so that come winter, you don’t even have to take your gloves off and what is really great is that no matter how many times you need to Open or Close the Door it won’t effect the next days cycle – easy!

All in one Design
We have designed our Automatic Door Openers to be as simple and intuitive as possible with easy to follow instructions and straight forward installation. The only DIY knowledge that you need is the ability to operate a screw driver. Uses only 4 X AA batteries
Designed with ultra low battery consumption and long life in mind, you won’t need to change the batteries for a least a year under normal use, and by only using 4xAA batteries, it won’t cost the earth! We recommend using high quality Alkaline batteries changing them once a year, but just in case you forget, a Low Battery warning light is illuminated when it’s time to change them and a warning is displayed on the LCD screen.
